Cute is what the woman tells me I am. Beautiful is when she tells me she can't date me for one reason or another that she just picked out of thin air because she didn't want to hurt my feelings.

My opinion exactly.....beautiful is a more adult, refined description. Cute sounds childlike and more innocent.

how thorough bigsmile thanks flowerforyou

i guess i could've just looked up the definitions myself huh embarassed laugh i was after the subjective meanings people put behind those two terms though.

but the actual definitions you just supplied make sense. i used to get called cute and i would get annoyed by it because i thought no* one thought me to be beautiful... and at 19 years old, for the first time, a guy who barely knows me told me out of the blue recently i'm beautiful... and i felt all bashful and dorky blushing bigsmile . i guess i just had to grow up.
