<---Former Alcoholic here Been sober since Feb 07. All of my friends partied every night and I couldn't go out so naturally they all started to leave me behind. Its hard when you get sober and nobody else will. I suggest maybe finding a support group such as AA or some other sort. You will find many people in your situation who will understand and help keep you sober. |

Other then that, maybe try Church functions, coffee houses, maybe even see if they have singles functions where no alcohol is served. Good luck and congratulations! Keep up the good work!

There's a mingle AA group http://mingle2.com/topic/show/169040 you might feel at home with. Anything good is worth waiting for, and there is life without booze. It takes effort and patience and mostly a lack of complacency with respect to sobriety. It's no use to even start a relationship if your foothold on sobriety isn't sound, and you needn't sacrifice meetings for women. Meetings only take up an hour or so in a day, and the social aspect of the program helps too. |

Lol, I've never had alcohol in my life...
You can find a girl who doesn't drink for sure... But it's hard to find one who doesn't drink, and also doesn't have kids. At least, around here it is. |
