Hi everyone, I find Sat nites the hardest too but try to keep busy.. My anniversary is coming up, Feb 12, lost him 2 yrs ago this March.. Ahhh hugs girlie :)

I find myself 50 something and widowed and it is hard. I think I will enjoy the postings, however I am new at this and I hope I do it right!! Good morning and welcome! 5x10 I imagine Valentine's day is rough for a lot of people especially in this age group when we have lost our partners.Myself it has been 12 yrs and New Years eve and His birthday and Valentine's day are a little rough.My girlfriend Is going through a divorce so we decided to go out for this coming holiday! Yeah, those days are hard. People think I am strange when I say New Years is hard...glad I'm not alone! May is very hard too. My husband's birthday was the 4th, mine on the 8th, and our anniversary on the 22nd! It does get easier as the years fly by. Thanks for your kind words! ((( ))) Your quit welcome.My husband and my birthdays were 4 days apart although I was a year older. Don't ever let anyone make you feel strange about your feelings, grief takes on many different faces.
