WHERE is my phone charger...the one that is supposed to be in my purse??? In your other purse??? Don't all women have something like 8 purses to go along with the 57 pairs of shoes??? lol Ummmm...maybe, but all my junk gets transferred from one to the other. Shoes, however, are an only recently developed taste...my daughter taught me about shoes. The student became the teacher and now she oogles MY closet :) LOL! |

I'm inking the paperwork tomorrow for my new job and will tell the locals and submit my 2 weeks in the afternoon (plus send an email to statewide people I've worked with most of whom will not believe I'm leaving!) Gotta do it all at once, basically because the grapevine in NM goes from one end of the state to the other and I don't want people to hear it second hand... Bottom line? WHOOPIE!!! Doing a happy dance!

And to think. You talked yourself out of wanting that job...lol I am so amazed at how the universe worked this out DESPITE me! I thought I'd be lucky to be kept whole compensation-wise...but a VERY slight salary cut but a 100% insurance coverage and I am almost at a 20% increase! I met my new staff today and the ones I already knew were hugging me and SO happy! The one person that was a candidate finalist was SO gracious and welcoming and kind...we are going to be good friends, as well as co-workers. At the old job, one woman cried and one was in such shock I was afraid she'd pass out. The upcoming boss and his buddy (the ones I'd been wishing the zombies on) were DEAD SILENT on the phone...it was a little gratifying to the devilish part of me. I can't believe the weight of stress that I've been carrying re: my old job...it's lifted now and I can clearly see how much this change was needed and how perfectly this job is a match. Sorry for the long post...I'm a LITTLE bit wound up, can you tell??? Yippee!!
