How do you deal with a control freak? Set clear boundaries and don't back down when they try to push it. You're in for a long, annoying battle of wills, though. They'll continue trying to control you for quite a while afterwards. You'll have to be very firm on what you won't put up with. (I don't know if that was a rhetorical question or if you had someone in mind....)Are they worth the effort? Think they'll reform a bit for you? Or would it be better to just move on?

How do you deal with a control freak? First of all I don't give them the control..They can only be a control freak if I choose to let them. I choose not to. |
