We just had trees float down the river here... flooding is happening
all around... I just saw the Portsmouth has some evacuations, and am hoping Jackie and all are okay... Gonna check in here again a little later. Hope folks see this and check in around the storm states areas, please. Just to make sure all is okay... Our river is a foot over food stage, and looking at another 5+ feet. Under warning so keeping watch. Oher areas have been hit pretty hard... be well, and light on everyone. |

Yeah was getting some flooding here too, but not as bad as other places.
Good luck to those in the coastal areas! |

jackie is ok...YAY!
I heard NY had gotten it, too. Other areas have closed roads, evacuations and damage... If the river here holds the next 5 feet above flood level, it'll be ok. Will begin going down by afternoon tomorrow. Other folks haven't been so luck=o/ I'm glad you guys are ok! |

hey laurie! xxxxxooooo
jackie, hon... Yeah! And, folks are still trying to drive through the waters getting hurt. Some killed. Trees and power lines, like you said are bad. The winds were brutal, but dies down here. We were very lucky. Only had three or four outages lastnight. Coastal, OMG, aweful. Saw mass amounts of sea foam? on the news site. Was weird, lol. Never seen that before. It's still raining here. Sending thoughts and light... Nor'easters, had to have a doozy before winter let go, eh? jeez, be safe... |

I hate hearing about flooding, it destroys people's homes, their
livelihoods, and then the lives lost. I hope the insurance companies pays people off, instead of them trying to get out of paying like in the Gulf States. |

the state did well with last years mothers day floods so i have faith
they will be there to help those in need this time. |

Australia and make a motsa.there drought stricken |
|
|

All is ok here where I am... other folks aren't so lucky...
River out back up up to8 ft, and the warning extended to tomorrow... Yeah, Irish? I know, hon. Like jackie said, the communities have some excellent emergency actions... Last floods were bad, too. And, not all folks recouped the losses from the Alstead floods. I am just in awe at the power of it all. light on ya! and wishing everyone safe... |

Kariz,
Yuh, rivame was telling me of the bad drought over there... what if, huh? |
|

time to break out the canoe and the emergency rations that taste like
cardboard but, high in carbohydrates. The only thing pretty decent in the army rations is the peanut butter and jelly and the freeze dried ice cream... Maybe the eggs taste okay. but, the rest taste like crap but, it definite keeps you alive. |
|
|
|
wel, we aren't that desperate yet, here...
I remember when my Mom was in the forest service in Idaho.. they were fighting fires over in Oregon, and Washington state when the forest fires where bad... late 70s. she brought home rations left over... hey, what ever gets us by, yes? |
|
|
|
woot!
warning has been canceled for our river...YAY! Now to send thoughts and light to the folks effected, and still being effected... Coastal tides will be very high... |
