I still cant get over the confusing the DOI and Constitution. I mean I have heard about people doing that like on TV but never just right before my eyes like that. I mean they start teaching that in 2nd grade.

yeah....whatever.......for the most part, I respect other people boundries.......and their beliefs..... But I think it is BULLSIT, when stores feel the need to cater to UNAMERICAN WAYS IN AMERICA.... Screw the "happy holidays" crap.... It was founded as CHRISTMAS....not HOLIDAY. other cultures may believe in something other then CHRISTMAS....but IN AMERICA WE HAVE CHRISTMAS... if you live in America....you should respect the culture of OUR ways....as americans should do in other countries.... With that being said.... MERRY CHRISTMAS.....And a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I see it this way. If a store feels the need to be objective and cover all holidays with "Happy Holidays" so be it. That's there way of making everyone happy. but when I say it back I can say whatever I please. And I do. ((((((((((((((( MERRY CHRISTMAS )))))))))))))) it is. What I think's funny .. you go into stores pushing for sales and putting up Christmas decorations to get people in the spirit .. and what is playin over head? You got it ........ CHRISTMAS CAROLS and no one can take the lyrics out of those. Just try. I think the whole big deal is ridiculous. I'm fine. I think the whole deal on these petty problems with holidays is silly. It's been this way for 200 some years and suddenly everyone and his brother has a problem with it. When a merchant wants my $$ they push whatever will get me in the mood to spend it .. so my take is when I spend same said $$ I can say whatever I damn well please .. It's just ridiculous that suddenly there is this big todo about it .. sigh*

It is really funny to me that "those who choose to interpret the founding fathers motives in their own way" are always the people who are trying to impose their beliefs on the world with no respect for others having the same rights they have to be respected in their faith, beliefs, etc... The problem with combining god and government in any way is represented here. The founding fathers were trying to respect ALL RELIGIONS BY MENTIONING GOD IN THEIR WRITINGS, they were not giving cart blanc to the religion of choice to run the whole country. They came from the tyranny of non freedom of religion so they understood that all religions needed to be represented and allowed without prejudice. Considering the nature of the Christian holiday, to be respectful and generous to others during the holiday should be in the forefront over trying to illegally claim dominance over the holiday. My opinion of course.

Yeah, I am being a stubborn a$$hole on here because this is not what I posted the thread for...everyone wanted to attempt to make my opinion look wrong....I did not post this to hear opposing opinions.....it was for those with similar beliefs to post in....always has to be someone come in and put in their unwanted 2 cents
