Would you think me less of a man if you knew he had been physically abused by his ex girlfriend?
No, not less of him...unless he let it interfere with his current life, which is kinda what I recently went through. My ex was VERBALLY abused by his ex wife, and it really screwed him up.

Absolutely not. Abuse comes in all forms. A woman is capable of abuse just as much as a man is.

No. Not realy

I don't think you're going to get the proper answers you're seeking to this question, Mirror, because too many people refuse to believe that male rape/abuse exists.
I'm just gonna sit back and watch this one. |

First, did he ever hit back?
I would not think less of anyone in that situation, abuse rarely starts as physical...and the psychological damage....if you've been there it doesn't need anymore explanation than that, if you haven't the understanding of it is almost impossible |

No, I've know more than one guy who's gone through that. I applaud him for not fighting back...then warn him to GET OUT!

Dude, Ill be the first man to stand up and say i was!
My daughters mother is a wack job and my beliefs never allow for the use of physical force ever against anyone. Its not the act of being abused that should cause anyone to feel or be treated like a lesser human being, its the abuser who becomes sub human in eyes at that point, no matter what sex they happen to be! A person who posses the need for physical force lacks SOUL FORCE! |

ouch hard one to answer for me.... backing out now....

Would you think me less of a man if you knew he had been physically abused by his ex girlfriend? Nope. Not at all. Woman can be as Or MORE brutal then men some times. |
That is tough. Physically abused by your ex girlfriend......hmmmm. I for one do not believe in hitting a woman. But if she was coming after me, I would at least try to restrain her then kick her to the curb....figuratively speaking.

No. Females have the same capacity for cruelty as males.

Would you think me less of a man if you knew he had been physically abused by his ex girlfriend? yes...sorry but i would...........imean....... lol ur less abused now arent you? |

Would you think me less of a man if you knew he had been physically abused by his ex girlfriend? No I would actually in fact be more concerned with has he learned to deal with the issues that it has created with the way it might make him feel about women now. Abuse in any form can change the way one reacts to others and should never be ignored. But why should abuse make anyone see that person as less then what they are. |
Only if it interfered with his ability to spank me...heehee.

No, I wouldn't think less of him. Verbal & physical abuse takes it's toll on any gender.

Let me add to your question:
If the person you have started seeing comes from an abusive relationship would you want to know before things got serious? Why? |

Anyone who raises a hand to me in anger had better be ready to pull back a stump.
