Why didn't I resew the straps on my dress last night when the plumbers were running in and out all evening?
Why didn't I just have them style my hair when I got it cut? Why didn't I just stay up when I woke up at 6:30 this morning? Why didn't I get my stuff for tonight better organized? And why didn't I find someone to go to this blasted christmas party with me? |

Excellent plan! If the party is at a restuarant, meander to the bar to buy your drinks, linger, smile, and start up a conversation with the cutest guy you see. Go for it.
