ALL of the holidays give me a serious case of the blues, and I just had the worst "Thanksgiving" I've had in 5 years, despite all of my proactive efforts to make it otherwise........
And since I'm convinced there is no objective reality..........please - no advice. |

Woke up this morning with an aching in my gut
Ba ba ba bum ate too much turkey, stuffing, cake and pie ba ba ba bum went back for seconds , Man what a glut Ba ba ba bam and a new dessert just had to try ba ab ba bum Now down on my knees making an offering to the porciline God babababababab bum I got the holiday over eating blues |

I try not to get down at the holidays even though I dont have any family or anything. Thanksgiving was my birthday too. I worked from 6am to 3:30 hanging steel and then had to go fix some computer issues at LSU-S and stayed until after midnight. Didn't eat Thanksgiving dinner, get a gift, have a drink or anything.
OK, maybe I'm re-thinking that never get the blues thing. lol Nah. |

Quiet_2008, you make me realize how freakin' good I have it. And, although I do not have a love in my life, man-wise, I do have love of family and friends and I need to realize that just because I don't get it when I want and need it, I do have it!!! I wish your sweetie could be with you and I wish you didn't have to deal with your illness. 
awwww thanks. It's just a thing. Some people are on dialysis, some people have lupus or cancer, some people have other ailments and all you can do is keep pushin, be into happy and not into sad. and laugh at little things like stoopid woodpeckers |

well.. odds are that for christmas i will get to give my kids getting kickedout of our house getting my truck repo'd no prestents no santa the water shut off if we do get to stay the electricty shut off if we get to stay no tree empty stockings we will have a christmas feast.. but its hard to cook them when you dont have electricity.. so happy holidays to all..
that sucks at least you have all of us for support and hugs |

I am feeling it. It also the one year anniversary of throwing my wifes azz out of the house. So there is a bright side.
