Lex...so can the llamas smoke buttered pencils...and must they be #2s? |

thank you so much for the kind words. you have all made us feel very
welcome here. it'll be fun making new friends and getting to know you all |
|
|

Thank you all for the responses. I believe that, once the assimilation
process gets a little farther along, both sides will realize there are not "both sides" at all -- we're all on the same side. Land, yes, they MUST be Number Two. Number Nines have plutonium erasers, and the Number Thirty-Sixes are only available from Arby's (and contain contaminated barbecue sauce from the old Arby-Qs). |
|
|
|
Naturally! What was I thinking.
EVERYTHING from Arby's is contaminated. I wouldn't subject my llama OR Pink Elephant to that. It's just cruel. |

Lex and friends,
I want to say that I agree with everything Lex has said. He is a good and valuable friend to me and I couldn't think of a better person to take the initiative on this conversation. All the formers (CSers) know from moy posts that I'm happy to meet them. I think this is wonderful for JSH and healthy for us all (get it, US ALL, not us and them). |

Thank you, Glenn!

Hey Lex, and Glenn,
Thanks for removing the labels, and hopefully others will follow... It is nice to identify with friends and family, and your family must feel somewhat innundated with the influx of some not so respectful as they could be, newbies. We do bring with us old customs, and old jokes, as I am sure your family has their own history and jokes... In our exuberance and relief to all connect up, there may have been some stepping on of toes, we are here to learn your site, your family's ways, and perhaps even some adoptions between us. I have dropped the other sites banner, and ask politely if I can learn yours, as I feel that is how we will assimilate into one family. When I joined JSH, I 'joined'...and no longer want to feel separate from JSH, or by constant crowing about another site, keep myself separate. So with soft steps and bowed head, I walk your halls learning the ways of JSH, and who are the members of the JSH family, and am honoured at the welcome that I have already received. |

Thank you Lex. I haven't stepped out in the forums much, but it took me
a month of watching before I did at CS. I appreciate your insight into all that is going on. And think the wonderful people that have immigrated to this site are so grateful for having a great place to go. I know I am... I hope the growing pains are not too bad, and just know that the transplants are interesting, fun, intelligent and caring individuals, with a great sense of humor. Thank you so much to everyone here at JSH who have stepped out and welcomed us. You are very kind! |
