Topic: where's my money | |
---|---|
So i was wondering:
since the government is using "OUR" money as they put it for all these bail outs, when all these companies start showing a profit i guess we should be receiving a check..which makes me wonder that when the government has spent "OUR" money on past businesses and they profited from "OUR" money where are those checks...plus interest... so its my understanding that we can use our money to help finance companies but we receive none of the profit when we are the biggest share holder...wtf is that...A bad investment......i would be willing to negotiate a severance package...rather than the profit going to these fat bastards and their spa parties it should be coming to you and me...where's my money... |

A tax revolution is what led to the founding of this country. I think congress needs a reminder.

I saw a story on the news last week telling about one of the big companies had given away over 1 Billion dollars in bonuses this year. If they have that much extra money, why do they need a bailout? Doesn't make a bit of sense to me.

Count me in Tombraider
I've been out of work since January; I'm ready to kiss ass and take names. OUR money isn't putting food on my table; my county taxes just went up again. |

I heard an economist on CNN say yesterday that if we were to split the ammount of money being given for the bailout each American would receive around 2 million each. That's my kind of bailout!!!!

Twitch the latest big bailout was Citibank. Call thier Customer service number & you will get someone in India. I think there should be no bailout for companies who hire overseas. Thier payroll taxes out to be going into the same coffers that they are taking from.

With so many people out of work, the taxes will go up to help pay for people on welfare and unemployment. Its a catch-22!

The IRS would get their cut and this country would be ahead of the game because all of US would be out spending money and getting this economy back on track. Instead we fund corporate jets and spa weekends. Nobody is worried about us. |

It's a start. Bring those jobs & taxes back to the US or let India bail them out!

yep we are on our own, we have to come up with our own bail out plan!

Yep & I try so hard not to take it out on them, because they are not at fault they just want a job & they are being used too. Citibank has scammed me & as soon as my balance is paid off I will not be doing business with them. |
