I don't mind bars. I quit drinking years ago but I still like nice little neighborhood pub type bars.
with pool tables I don't do clubs. too noisy, too crowded, too many near-teens |

Who is tared of smelly smokey singles bars I for one am, that is why I joind this site in the first place. I also hope to meet a classy women near me, who likes to hang out. 
Well many of them dont allow smoking indoors anymore so they are normally far less smoky. I still go to a bar on occasion to listen to live music but certainly not to meet men. For one thing, a bar is an ENTIRELY different scene for a female. We are hit on constantly and can choose from any number of males to go home with for a sexual encounter if that is all we so desire. I guess its not exactly like that for men. |

Talking to a drunk is not exactly my idea of good communication. It's so prevalent, though. Half the threads on here start out talking about dating or cars or llamas or something, and you can bet money that someone will turn it into a drunk thread. Trying to find a non-drinker on a dating site is like trying to find a snowman on the sun. |

I don't mind bars. I quit drinking years ago but I still like nice little neighborhood pub type bars. with pool tables I don't do clubs. too noisy, too crowded, too many near-teens same here i never liked clubs, even when i was a teen. i actually fell asleep once, in one of the booths
however, i do enjoy a game of pool, or darts, watching a sporting event, and an occasional drink (i'm a two-drink kind of girl) |
