Why does everyone's feeling on abortion have to be based on their religion? because it is their religion that teaches it is wrong the thing i find funny is no one uses the declaration of independence arguement of the issue ---------------------------------------- We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. http://www.ushistory.org/declaration/document/index.htm ---------------------------------------- unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. ---------------------------------------- that makes it a religious argument but this ---------------------------------------- Amendment 1 Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. http://www.usconstitution.net/const.html#Am1 ----------------------------------------- actually removes the legality of using religion to pass the law banning abortion if you pass a law passed on religious belief that is establishing that religion but ------------------------------------------- the fact that unalienable Rights, that among these are Life would remove the religion aspect as it is an unalienable right to have life but to kill you before you are born tramples your right to life as described in the declaration of independence endowed by their Creator---once you create them yes you are their creator thus you gave them an unalienable Right to life if you do not want them to have this right i guess you should not create them ----------------------------------------- i still am not taking sides in this issue but the above argument is a very good one imo but hey what do i know |

We could discuss the acts of gayness and your beliefs and interpretation of those. my argument against that is...in my eyes...the behavior is odd...wrong...so...that being said...why would i want to sanction a behavior that i believe is wrong...not natural or normal...and...you're going to say...but they're not bothering you...right ? gulp !!...I kind of got sidetracked last night with your latest line of questioning...lol...gulp !!...have I seen these acts up close and personal ?...God forbid !!...LOL...I'll quote my hero Archie on this one..." Well, I'm not sure on this one. If you want to understand, it is the most simple way to ask about religion and the connection to the issue on hand. But this being a strictly political forum, I don't know about the rules. so it might be a catch 22. 1) It is illegal to murder a human.
2) Humans only produce human offspring 3) A woman who is pregnant is always pregnant with a human baby. 4) Abortion results in the death of her baby. 5) Her baby is a human, therefore abortion is murder. Abortion should have nothing to do with Religion. To me, it's not a religious issue, it's a legal issue. Abortion is murder by our own laws. Until abortion supporters can prove that a embryo / fetus isn't a human, abortion should be illegal. There is no moral or legal justification for killing an innocent and non-threatening being, which might be a human. |

In many states, a fetus is protected by laws just like everyone else. So if you accidentally kill a fetus, it's manslaughter. If you intentionally murder a fetus, it's murder. That's the way it should be. So please clarify your point, I'm not sure what you mean by double standards. |

i dont care at wat point in pregnancy or wat religion abortion is murder common that PERSON inside of you could be anything. The next president, the person who finds the cure to cancer anything. And besides that how can u take away that persons chance in life without them getting a say. Jus because they r inside u its theyre F###### life. not yours to end
