He is in and out of drug rehab.

I was not around when he started his drug habit, but I was at his intervention a few years ago, celebrating his 5th trip into rehab. "Celebrating" is said with much sarcasm.

I don't know how he is doing now, because his wife had a jealous fit when I called to check on him once. Note: there has never been nor will there ever be a romantic inkling between the two of us. Our relationship has always been akin to close cousins.

I like his wife and out of respect for her feelings, as nonsensical as they seem to me, I had no choice but to abandon his life. To do anything else would have stirred up trouble in their relationship, which would not be doing him any favors, especially since she is his #1 supporter in his battle with drugs.

She is a widow with 2 grown kids and she is living with a guy 4 hours away. We still talk and see each other a few times a year. In fact she was my best friend since I was 10 years old....

I like to believe when I think of him....he is "watching"...

She is a correctional officer in a maximum prison...I talk to her about once a week...boy the stories she tell me. YIKES

Haven't seen or heard from her in years. Ran into her folks a couple years ago, they said she'd moved up north.

She lives in the next city over. We still talk all the time. She has 2 great children. I love her to bits.

Best guy friend, married, divorced, married again, computer geek in Conn. I found him again after hearing about serching for people on the internet. Found him in about 15 mins. A girl friend from Jr. High and part of HS is second marriage and in Calif. Still do an ocassional email with her.

I graduated from a small school - a class of 36. About half of us spent most of our free time together. Some of us did nearly everything together. Two live within an hour from me. One is in Oregon. One is in Alaska. One is in Texas. One in in Mississippi.

Just one phone call and it's as if we just spent time hanging out yesterday.

Um...he lives a few blocks away from here. He's married, has three stupid ankle biter dogs, and he claims his marriage is good...even though his wife has slept with 3 other people and he is going out every weekend attempting to screw some girl.

She got knocked up by my boyfriend's brother...who was using her as a rebound and dumped her when he found out about the pregnancy. She refused to talk to me after that, poisonous association in her mind I suppose. Have spoken about three times since then with promises to keep in touch, but it never happens. Last time I spoke with her she had another child by another MIA man and was still living with her Mom even though she's in her mid 30s.

2nd closest friend was the relationship from whom the boyfriend's brother was rebounding..also cut contact with me when the relationship ended. Everything I know about her since then is hearsay.

Thank goodness my ex brother in law lives in another state from me now. lol

All my best friends from school are still my best friends. They have all done very well for themselves.
