More disasters! My prayers go out to them...Are we really prepared! All it takes is one. Florida you all heard so much with the hurricanes has been one of the best in the world in preparing and warning people. But our infrastructure fails to accommodate a timely withdrawal. Interstate 75 the main east coast artery from the keys to Maine is 20 years behind growth in my state. The main escape route used such in hurricanes. But we are the best prepared!!!! If you want to leave, leave at week early.

Less earthquakes then? I felt them when I was a kid.
I remembering watching my Dad's coffee cup jiggle across the table and fall into his lap. Yep, there was coffee in it.

There were major earthquakes here 1811/1812. It even changed the direction of the Mississippi.

Trust me, I was talking about land earthquakes.

Indo is a volcanic wonderland.... as well as being on wobbly ole tectonic plates...

and yes, whoever wrote the Tsunami's are the scary bit, are correct.


An earthquake in the Solomon islands as well as Indo can affect the coastline of India, Japan and Australia...

India, Indo,Japan, highly populated coastal areas...

However, it's the risks we are aware of... and learn to live with.
