I need to rant for a bit! It is one thing to tease someone in a forum. With good intent. Ya know, give someone grief in a joking manner! I think that is fine. All part of being on Mingle and I love it. What is becoming apparent is that not everyone here is being kind. They are nitpicking and tearing others apart for stupid reasons. Let's lighten up people and have fun! Please, I am begging you. It is becoming annoying having to back others all the time for being attacked! Get a life! Okay...rant over!
I have seen some of this in the past few days. The common element seems to be that there are a few petty and miserable souls who can't stand to see anyone else make friends and have a good time. Let's not let them spoil it for the rest of us. |

I think in general, the rule on this forum is debate till the cows come home but dont let the topic digress into personal attacks. I sense that is not what you are talking about though.
Anyway, if someone was truly being a meany, Im glad I missed it. Be aware you can always hit that "report post" If someone says something inappropriate or truly hurtful. The moderators here are excellent and very quick to react. |

I used to be a very active poster I have slowed way down because I don't come here to be harrassed, I go to work for that! Most of the people I used to chat with have left because of the hostile climate here. We like you here.

I've never seen a BBS that didn't have nastiness etc on them, & count on this...people will come & go & it was there before they got there & it will be there when they leave...& will still be there if they come back.
Some people don't feel safe unless they are traveling with the RAT Pack. Clicks are even in these little cyber communities. But as for you? Let it go & ENJOY!
