I like to think about what a friend or true friendship is to me and what others feel about friendship. Here is a short list on Friendship :

- Flowers of true friendship never fade.
- Friendship is a silken tie which binds friends together.
- Friendship is love with understanding.
- Real friendship is a slow grower.
- Soil and friendship must be cultivated.
- There are many sweet fruits of life,but none as sweet as the fruit of friendship.
- With your friends you love them despite their faults.
- When friends meet,hearts warm.

Thinking on these few sayings of friendship how many can say they think the same? Are your friends important to you and if so how important? Just a few simple thoughts.

My friends are binded together by leather straps, whether they like it or not. My friends are blood, right or wrong I have their back at all times. Real friendship is blood deep.

A friend will bail you out of jail. but, a real friend will be sitting there next to you saying, "damn! we fu**ed up!"

I'm actually there on that bridge of friendship. Arrived there yesterday with my ex bf. Yes, the one that's been treating me like crap. He'll be "there" for me. That's more important than having a romantic relationship with him. It is the back bone of relationship's isn't it? To be friend's....I know you're going to want to slap me but, maybe someday this will come full circle. Call me HOPELESS romantic???????????? Duh, yup! lol.

friends are someone you can call at 3 am when your feeling upset and they will make you feel better, they are the people that you trust with anything you hold dear, they are the people who help when its needed, or are there to kick your ass for being stupid, and then pick you up and hug you til its alright.

Go ahead and be a hopeless romantic!! I have quietly admired you from afar from seing your posts here because of that!!!

friends support each other the way no other can. its the person who brings out the other side of you that you hide. they can be your wild child or your anchor to the real world. they know when you screw up and are there to help you fix it. they know when you gotta do things on your own and when to be the backbone of your needs.

they are a balance.

they are not a crutch.

they are not a savior.

they are your conscience.

they will tell you straight up no matter what when you need the truth.

and in turn.. as a good friend.. you will not break that friendship when they do.
