Did anybody stop and think that monogamy is a dieing instatutesion , the waste of life time resourses, plural relationships is the wave of the future ,also with the tougf economic times lets face it it takes alot of money just to survive three pay checks is better than one , people have got to let go of there outdated concepts of idealizam that dosent work, True it takes a good non selfish personailty to be plural mate ,in fact in many people the lack of this personailty is the cause of there devorce best in life to you all

Did anybody stop and think that monogamy is a dieing instatutesion , I'm going to try it out anyway. I am a 50's type girl and I will make my future husband swoon forever. When I do get married I might be the last married girl on Earth but it will last forever.

after doing a major search on the web, this is the most currnet information i could find on the US Divorce rate. NO IT IS NOT 70% geez. nice way to try to make cheating okay dude. really. foul. this is from Divorcemag.com and you can find an article on the same stats with msnbc.com as well. "The divorce rate in 2005 (per 1,000 people) was 3.6 -- the lowest rate since 1970, and down from 4.2 in 2000 and from 4.7 in 1990. (The peak was at 5.3 in 1981, according to the Associated Press.)"

OK so how much of that 70% is getting divorced for the second or third time ? that would be intresting to know ans a serieal devorcee myself

My parents have been happily married for 50 yrs. My grandparents were married for over 60 yrs. Then there's all my Aunts and Uncles that are married for over 40 yrs. Many of my friends have been married for over 20 yrs. The good non-selfish personalities are out there. And btw, the divorce rate is much lower then 70%.
