A messy house is a house that is lived in. JMO. I'm not talking about disgustingly DIRTY. But "messy", there are 3 kids in my house. (Ages 5, 6 and 31) And our place can look a little messy at times. But we are living and having fun. FYI - I am the 31 year old. i agree with this. |

I can deal with the "lived in" look, I don't consider that messy.

i couldnt date a "messy slobby" person.
i like organization too much. now my house is not totally clean right now..but it could be quite easily. i just get sick of cleaning for people to messy it up. i jsut consdier myself organized...which is what is between neat/messy...perhaps |

There is a difference between messy and filthy....
I must admit...I am changing my ways! I have been single for faaaar too long and only recently seen that I have indeed been doing a slow backslide as far as the dusting and vacuuming thing goes... Now that I have someone...I fully realize that I have to get back to my daily upkeep of the domicile. Almost feel ashamed that I let my personal living space go abit...(Please note that I am a very clean and hygenic guy)... But, after spending most of my adult life single..it is easy to fall into a rut of apathy....been yanked out of that rut by the short hairs and have recently found myself scrambling to make everything acceptable. |

you date someone who was an overall messy person? As long as he cleans up after himself I am fine with it. I am not doing it. |

you date someone who was an overall messy person? No! He doesn't have to be a neat freak or anything but somewhat organized. |

No problem as long as they don't mind my cleaning up: no nasty crap though. Messy ain't bad, but not trashy!

Messy is cool as long as he isn't trashy messy. I don't mind seeing a guys house that's all disorganized and if he is my boyfriend I usually end up straightening his place up. I like to clean and organize.
I don't like garbage though. If a guy has garbage or left over food all around and his place smells bad then I am not interested in him. Garbage=rats and I don't like rats. |
