I don't want to impose my rules on anyone. Don't worry I won't make you have an abortion or marry a person of the same sex. I won't condemn you to hell or call you a pervert. I won't deny you the right to see your loved one in the hospital or to provide for them when you work. I won't doubt your ability to love or deny you the ability to raise children. The radical religious right will deny others all those things. Worse yet they presume to do it in God's name. Practice what you preach! Don't impose religious standards on others. Live and let live. Leave the rest to God.

I guess it alright for the church to question our policies but not for the people to question the Churchs!!!! hMMMMMMMMMMMMMM This Interpertation needs alittle rethink.

That goes for you too. You can believe what you want but don't expect people to get on any old bandwagon. Seems to me there are a few fence straddlers. I might be a staddler on political sides but a Firm believer of the constitution. I would die for that constitution..I dont agree with some of the interpataions of it but will fight for it till the death.

It was then taken away. Therefore taking away their right to choose to marry. Shouldn't everyone have the right to choose? I don't want to turn this into another debate about if they should or should not be able to do so. But, I do strongly protest the name calling. Since they are the ones doing the pushing I think then they are the problem.

I'm not a qualified right giver... just a thinker who can't stand the hypocrisy that some "religious" people work themselves into. We can't, as FREE people go around saying that we're equals when not all of us are given the same rights.

Maybe that's because some things are not "rights." A lot like the right not to judge? Go on, keep insisting that others are haters, "loonie libs", and the like. But, one day you'll be faced with a decision you won't want to make. And it will based on being morally correct according to your faith or an intelligent statement concerning actual people you might know. I pity you.

The 6-3 decision by the court reverses course from a ruling 17 years ago that states could punish homosexuals for what such laws historically called deviant sex. Legal analysts said the ruling enshrines for the first time a broad constitutional right to sexual privacy, and its impact would reach beyond Texas and 12 other states with similar sodomy laws applied against the gay and lesbian community, and into mainstream America. "The petitioners are entitled to respect for their private lives," Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote for the court's majority. "The state cannot demean their existence or control their destiny by making their private sexual conduct a crime."
