Absoutly, when I lost Simba it was like losing a child and cherokee is my new baby  I'm going to be a mess the day my Gizmo goes to Heaven
thats a bridge to cross when it comes up! until then i'm gonna complain about her, cuss her, and enjoy all the time I have left! She hides my things if I leave her too long, steals what she thinks she can get away with and is sure a hug a and a kiss is the solution to every situation or problem! She perfect!  In the Winter, Gizmo likes to hide my gloves and hat

Sure I love and spoil my dogs but, my cat is the coolest!!!!!! That is one laid back kitty!

What can I say? I just have always liked animals better than people....they offer us unconditional love and companionship....They really do seem to know what we really need.....

Awhile back I had a white Chow Chow, a cat, and two cocketeils. The cat and dog were my babies. They passed away before my child was born. My Chow had the guest room and a queen sized bed. When I would go to bed, I could hear him grab a stuffed animal and jump on the bed to sleep. The cat had the office. She slept on a fan backed wicker chair. Heavy sigh. I miss them. 
I love Chows too. My family has had several of them.

dogs are too complicated and require too much attention, cats just a little less..I think Im going to adopt a child..thats easier and when they turn 18 you can boot them out the door..

yep.i have an 8 year old female Rat Terrier.i originally got her for hunting but she soon became a part of the family.if i ever start to date again,my dog has to approve of her before i will because if my dog ain't going to like her than i won't either!
