OH boy this thread could have been made for me. I have a toy poodle that is a service dog also. My dad calls her my mid-life crisis child. she has her own recliner, two toy boxes, several of her own blankets, a car seat for the car. You name it she is rotten but very well trained.
I have a firm rule like my dog or pretend well enough to fool her if you want a part of my life. She sleeps with me the whole nine yards. Thank god she is only 6 pounds and yes she has her own pillow on the bed. |

My lab keeps me sane, and of course is a source of constant amusement.

EWWW. The worst habit and I have never broken her of it is she likes to roll in fermented bear Scat that of course has rotten salmon in it. I mean yuk... Gags me over and over all season long. She also swims in the bay up here with me. |

Its just insane! But NOBODY will ever separate her from me as long as both of us are alive. almost 10 years now, gonna see it to the end! |

Absoutly, when I lost Simba it was like losing a child and cherokee is my new baby Oh when I lost Denali my sheltie I literally had from the day of his birth it was like loosing one of my children. I couldn't believe I greived for him almost the same as I did for one of my children. |

Awhile back I had a white Chow Chow, a cat, and two cocketeils. The cat and dog were my babies. They passed away before my child was born.
My Chow had the guest room and a queen sized bed. When I would go to bed, I could hear him grab a stuffed animal and jump on the bed to sleep. The cat had the office. She slept on a fan backed wicker chair. Heavy sigh. I miss them. |
