It seems we tend to stay away from haiku's on this site. I would love to have some of the other writers and poets join me in a ku-for-all. I will set the ball rolling........... Blossoms like magnets Wind blows through fragrant tresses Bees are everywhere The above haiku was written in response to a photo prompt ( I've included the photo on my profile page) Petals in a stream Dancing in a dragon dance Gardener's New Year

Silently hiding in the dew. Tiny transparent drops of morning mist. resting softly on the pedals of my rose. That's great imagery 
But isn't a Haiku 5,7,5 syllables? Are there exceptions? (I'm not trying to be a knowitall, I honestly don't know) Your right But did ya ever know a poet who followed the rules?

LOL I refuse to allow alzhiemer to visit me !! It is amazing how quickly you can find inspiration when you see a picture in front of you.I loved yours.
