I do think physical markers do matter. I know I can really like someone who is one of the non-physical elements I like but if some of the physical markers that turn up the furnace are not there it is going to be a lot more of and effort to get me cooking with you. It is not impossible but it is how it is. I would be sad to think that someone didn't get a buzz out of what I am physically even if they like my personality.

Sometimes it is just what someones physical appearance reminds you off. Burningmonk is a good example. Darlin looks, insiteful, smart, but no cigar because he looks enough like my kid to be him. Would just be too distracting.
