I can fit into almost any crowd... it's a lot easier than people think. Put your prejudices and ignorance away... you never know who could make a good friend to you.

I can be lazier when I'm alone. For instance, if someone is in my home at lunch time, I'll probably make a meal, verses grabbing an apple and piece of cheese if I'm by myself.

Do you hold back solely based off the fact that you don't think they can handle your brand of sarcasm, or is there another reason? If you ask any of my friends around here they will tell you I'm an asshole, but I tell it how it is (how it appears to me, they seem to miss that bit), I guess that is the bluntness of me I don't hold back if my opinion is asked.

Well I am not trying to be an asshole at all.. I hand out compliments when needed..and my sarcastic humor is just in my opinion a humorous way to tell someone how i really feel...really the only way i know how..
But yea most of the time i do hold it back, cuz alot of ppl don't understandmy sarcasm and feel I am really insulting them.

Yea...so if I am tripping and stubbling all over the place, say the dumbest comments around you, spill soda all over your shirt by accident, and I am totally ignoring you, and am being stand-offish...I am really, really interested in you..ha ha

But if it's someone you are attracted to...wouldn't you prefer to know right away if they are going to be able to handle your sense of humor?

I wind up seeming " stand offish " because of a fear of saying something that sounds really stupid.

It's something left over from when I was a kid that even counseling hasn't been able to help me with.

No I haven't, I only have Leave a Whisper right now...looking to obtain the rest of them though, quite a good band I've recently started listening too.

The new one is pretty good. That's coming from someone who really isn't a big fan of the band.

There are quite a few tunes on it that I really like.

Not to say I try to be an asshole, it's not like I go out of my way to be an asshole. I just tell it how I see it, I also try to add a bit of humor to the responses (of course I think this is moreso attributed to my Irish accent). I hand out compliments really only when I see one is necessary (example is when I see someone has done their hair and no one has commented on how good it looks). Just a thought here, and please take it as far as you wish, but maybe if you were to make it as clear as you made it here your sarcasm would be more acceptable?

I feel like me in any circumstance. I can't be more like myself because it doesn't work when I try to be more (or less) like myself, because I'm already there.



Trying to impress people is a losing proposition, because then you're just letting other people control you. And they're never really qualified to do so.

I do sometimes think about someone I'd like to be with, although that comes from an entirely different direction.
