I think it would be hard not to do, especially when discussing forum topics in private.

But how conscience and careful are you about guarding your Mingle friends identities when you know more than they would want others to know?

Personally, I ask each friend if they want me to call them by their real names when they come up in a conversation with other friends. Otherwise, I'm careful not to let any info I'm privy to slip out that is not something they talk about in the open forum or that's not in their profile.

What recommendations and tips can you offer about how you try to protect your friends here?

I respect all my friends and all there boundries. What we talk about is between them and I, unless other wise stated that I can share.

I do talk about you guys to my real life friends thought. We have shared many of laughs .

It's all about common sense and courtesy.

I pass on all the silliness that happens here with a couple of my IRL friends too.

I keep detailed notes on everything and everyone and relay it to everyone in my friends list and on myspace.

I respect my friends privacy, if they tell me something in confidence, it goes no further. If it is about a problem that I think Jon will be able to help with, I ask if I can share it with him.

There are people on here that I know for over a year and have not even revealed their real name if they asked not to.

And some of my friends have kept my problems and troubles, just between us.

Oh, and my IRL friends know all about you people. Just ask alittlebehind123, she is one of my best friends she is only starting to post but she knows things about most of you!!!

I respect my friends here as I do the ones I have in life. What they say to me stays with me it is their choice to discuss with others not mine.

I talk about them, but just the same as I do my other friends. As in, my friend so and so told me....
