The last wedding I went to solo, everyone asked me where my bf (at the time) was. Instead of having to tell them we'd split and bomb a wedding for my family, I told them all I ditched him because I never get to dance with family anymore. I spent the night dancing with everyone and it was the best time I ever had at a wedding.

Get drunk, make a fool of yourself (do this first)...then make the most foolish speech you will ever make in your life (usually starting with "when we were younger..." or "I remember when...").

Well y'all I have to say I wussed out and did not pull any random tricks at the party. I also did not find anyone to flirt with....
 . There was a little elderly lady I helped to her car that thought I was just the bees knees though.... . I even passed on the alcohol...I just couldn't see myself becoming a blubbering idiot in front of the whole crowd. Sometimes it's better to abstain!

if you're supposed to present a speech.stand up and say something like
"i'm sorry i didn't prepair a speech but i am so honored to get this award (holding up a piece of cake).i would like to thank everyone that has supported me (...etc)" than calmly walk out of the room |
