It kinda goes in cycles. Most of the time new threads will be the same old " Is the person above you...." or " Would you ( blah blah blah ) the person above you..."

Very rarely are there any threads here that contain any real substance. Even the ones that start out that way devolve into general chit chat and flirt fests. Not that there is anything in particular wrong with that. But it does start to get old after a while.

On the other hand, there are, occasionally, threads that make people really think.

Fortunately, when things get to inane for me here, I have another place to go. Somewhere that isn't a dating site.
