Why do people always stop directly under the restroom sign to ask where the restrooms are?

Justaguy I have a question; I often go home for the weekend and do laundry for my widowed father and I am always baffled by the fact I can never seem to find two socks that match .I know this is known to happen in the dryer but I haven't even got them to the washing machine yet!!!Where the heck do you think they are going to?

It would seem that the Sock Eating Monster ( as referenced in the previous thread ) has managed to find his way out of the dryer and has invaded your Father's clothes hamper...lol

Justaguy, I recieved a email today from a guy who made me laugh,smile and peeked my curiousity.But I have a bad habit of sabatoging things before they even get out of the gate out of fear I guess. Any advice for an old timer like me on keeping things going?

The fact that you recognize your sabotage tendency is huge. All you really have to do is realize it WHEN you are doing it. At that point, you need to sit back and ask yourself " Why am I doing this?? "

It's only after you can honestly answer that question that you will be able to proceed without doing the same thing all over again.

Right at the moment, just sit back and enjoy the conversation. If you have to, lie to yourself just a bit and tell yourself that you aren't really interested in this guy.

It may seem like an odd thing for a guy to tell someone, but doing that will help you to NOT fall into your bad habit.

During the time that you are using a little white lie on yourself, you can, at the same time, ask yourself the question I suggested you pose, and really think about the answer.
