....I think there are far more riskier things people do on first dates. Such as? Not telling anyone your "plans". Getting drunk. Letting someone else drive the car. Taking a "friend" you can't depend on. Allowing someone to bring their child. Not taking enough money to get home on your own. Carrying all your credit cards. Letting your date stand with you at the ATM. Waving a lot of "money" around. Wearing expensive jewlery, electronics, designer clothes. Letting someone bring a pet. Going somewhere you can't get away from the person. Inviting the person to your home to pick you up or drop you off. Going to a remote location. These are a few of the faux pas that can be just as dangerous to a man as a woman. Not things I advise for a first date with someone. Unless you have known them in another setting. But certainly true of first computer dates or dates that someone else has set up. No one is as careful with your saftey as you are.
