Topic: Is Barack the Bobby we missed?

Will Barack bring about a kinder Gentler world? We as Americans have been put through alot the last 8 years; the WTC, the patriot Act, the economy, the lies and deciept of Gov. Bush and his "fuzzy math", The "War" on "Terror", the list goes on. Maybe its time,instead of looking for a fight and destruction, to make this a place where we can be free from ignorance and prosection and we can learn to accept and respect others differences because its that idea that truley makes America great!

I don't know about Bobby but in a show I was watching Obama said that he thought his life would have been easier if he had been named Barry instead of Barack. Obama is the only person I know with that first name. I have been trying to research what the word 'Barack' means.

I know he will be a difference from what we have had and that has to be good since we are free falling into hell from this administration.

I don't know about Bobby but in a show I was watching Obama said that he thought his life would have been easier if he had been named Barry instead of Barack. Obama is the only person I know with that first name. I have been trying to research what the word 'Barack' means. It seems, from personal experience, that most white/black relationships where the mom is white, she tries desperately not to name the child an exclusively "white" name. I am not sure why this is but it seems to happen most of the time.

I didn't hear him claim, I've only heard about his actions which are different... If Bush was involved you can bet I wouldn't vote for him but McCain I've heard/read, is different... What do we KNOW?

I personally see alot of the same ideas from Barack as the generation before me saw in Bobby Kennedy, i think the fact that we may get a second chance in that regards is just down right AWESOME!!

I wish I knew enough about Bobby to comment in that regard... As is stands I'm concerned about "who" can do the most for us NOW... I'm not sure Obama is the answer.. I wish I had the right answer...

I don't like either!!!!!! But McCain spent over 5 year's as a POW so he know's about getting screwed by our government!!!!!!

He looks like he can. I am hoping so. I do feel he's going to be busy cleaning up Bush's mess for a few years though.

Being a POW does not make one a better candidate for President, IMO.

Just remember Bush was working with Clinton's mess.. As the next president will be working with Bush's... That's the way it rolls.. Clinton was not innocent FAR FROM, Bush certainly is not and Obama OR McCain will not be as well... To realize and admit that no one is innocent is to be realistic in life and politics...

Clinton wasn't above screwing around on his wife WHY will Obama be???? who Cares who screwed who? It's WHO IS GOING TO RUN THIS COUNTRY THE BEST!
