What does it mean when a person's account is deactivated? Is that something the person does or is it something done by the site due to abuse, etc. If it is the latter, I'd like to know for my own safety..Mary

If you do something wrong then the mods can also deactivate you. Oh by the way Welcome to the site, post and have some fun meeting the people and making some friends.

If we "deactivate" an account for abuse, the account is permanently deactivated. If the user does it, then he/she can always reactivate the account. Hope this helps, Mary.
