Topic: How many posts have you really made?

*IZZIE SAID LLAMA!!!!!!!!!* I usually don't post just a smiley I usually have something to say, but others tend to ignore me if I am not part of their circle of friends. Which doesn't really bother me anymore. As Izzie said, some of us are friends on and off the threads and they are the ones who pay attention when we need it. I have never been bothered if any of my posts get ignored, though i guess i do have a way about my posting style that does provoke reaction quite a bit of the time. I do know there is a group of people on this site that make a point of keeping away from me, which is absolutely fine. If my posts though were almost always overlooked, i would look at what i am saying and wonder why, and see what i need to do to change that. I said Llama once, and nobody laughed, i guess its the way i tell 'em!

Substance... you mean people take this stuff seriously? Maybe once or twice when I'd had enough of someone attacking a friend, that's when my IQ wakes up. Other than that, absolute drivel and banter. Not a very high percentage of my posts are actually very serious. I mostly banter too. But i do TRY to make my banter slightly interesting at least, or funny, or something.. I guess the word 'substance' was the wrong choice here.

I have lots of friends that are on this site, and many of them I can call up and talk to on a personal level if I want to discuss something... I think that when something is posted in a public forum (I am talking serious posts/topics) and they want discussion on it, then I think personally, that they ought to acknowledge what people post to them... IF you only want/need your close personal friends input and that is all you pay attention too, then why post it in a public forum? I am sorry, you misunderstood what I meant......I meant that there are others on here who will come into a thread just to post a yawning face, because you aren't one of their friends. I was saying that if I post on a thread I usually have something to say about it. I have other ways to talk to my friends too about problems and if it is a personal problem, I wouldn't post it on here, I would call or email them. And I NEVER exclude my conversations to just the people I know, otherwise I am restricting myself to not finding friends. If I did that, I wouldn't have been on this site for long. I joined with a friend who doesn't join the forums and now I have some of the greatest friends I have ever had the pleasure of talking to!! And if I didn't talk to people I don't know, I wouldn't have met my fiance. Eileen

I have made many friends that I will carry in my heart for a lifetime...and there are many more who really did take the time to say something...something meaningful during a difficult time or a difficult situation...and I really appreciated it... back at you! ~Deb
