Ppl make judgements online all the time, and they r allowed, afterall, the onus is on ourselves to be safe. A person may make a judgement against me for being picky with who i befriend, or the fact that i was an unmarried mum, and thats ok, i dont mind, so if i think someone is fake, that is ok too, i just dont speak to them. i agree i rarely even talk to people that i don't know for certain are real, either by my having met them, or their having met someone that i've met even that doesn't guarantee their 'character' but at least it indicates that i'm taking to a person who is accurately portrayed by the photos they are depicting on their profile. i'm a bit (a lot) anal about it, but i don't mind if that's the way i come across to others. like pink lady said, my safety - and that of my kids - is paramount. I can vouch for this woman, she's very real and a sweetheart in real life.....even if she does come across otherwise online!
