believe that marriage is the way to go?
Truthfully I did and have been married....it blows! Why does a piece of paper and a ring suddenly change things? |

Marriage is just a risk you take.. like getting out of bed each morning and hoping you make it back home at the end of the day. I refuse to live my life in fear of what may or may not be... I just try to take it day by day.

I think a good long engament or living together first is the way to go...this gives you plenty of time to decide if you can spend the rest of your life with this person.

believe that marriage is the way to go? Truthfully I did and have been married....it blows! Why does a piece of paper and a ring suddenly change things? marriage is not necessary. but it confers certain legal privileges and obligations. it is 2 things first and foremost...1) a consecration of a holy bond in a religious sense and 2) a method for society to recognizeand reward a special family relationship legally aside from that, it's not all that much. |

Been married twice and would do it again. It's about trust and believing in family values which are slowly fading in this country. |

changes like having a title to a car, makes u feel u own it and takes away some of the mystery and intrigue to it,first you wax and care for it everyday the next moment there fries on the floorboard and garbage in the backseat lol, sorry to mix analogys but for some it can be like that.It loses the appeal when the mystery and newness is gone to a contract...the faithful tho are different and treat it like its new forever

I have a quote. By all means marry; if you get a good wife, you'll become happy;if you get a bad one, you'll become a philososopher. -Socrates
And we have a lot of those here. |
