..very powerful question...supposedly, there are three types of love..( i can be mistaken..not certain on this ) 1. brotherly love 2.godly love..or sacrificial depending on perspective..3.sexual love...1&3 are easy...at least in my opinion...2 is the hardest....the old adage " when you love someone, let them go" - cliche yes, but relevant and extremely hard to do...I think there are a very few people that have done that or would do that in the truest sense of the meaning....so back to the question..."what do I know about love that other people just don't seem to grasp.." -- that I forfeited the certainty of marriage to the girl of my dreams because I knew at the time that I would be unable to provide for her as she should be provided for...that she is gone forever... I think it's the fact that I'm just a loving person, I love human beings, family, friends, strangers.. a lot of people can't or don't understand that. |
