I've been hurt so many times[mostly by family members] that you get to the point where you don't trust anyone anymore,there are somethings that go to deep to forget or forgive,you try to put it behind you but you can't.So you build a wall around yourself.

I've been hurt so many times[mostly by family members] that you get to the point where you don't trust anyone anymore,there are somethings that go to deep to forget or forgive,you try to put it behind you but you can't.So you build a wall around yourself. Yeah...but that is one thing I refuse to do..the way I see it...if you entomb yourself while alive..why not be dead??? Doesn't this make sense? You end up not protecting your heart...but shielding it from love...that is like putting a cover over a flower and shielding it from the sun...might as well just kill the flower outright. |

Truly NO OFFENSE, Popcorn...but, BOO HOO!
We ALL have been hurt...we ALL have skeletons...we ALL have experienced our own PAIN. It matters not what we have been through, but rather how we have CHOSEN to move through it. Every day, by GRACE, I am given CHOICE of partaking in the role of victim or survivor. Certainly, I take my past experiences/relationships and learn from them...but, I most assuredly do NOT punish those in my future for past SELF-perceived errors of others. Everyone in my present/future deserves a fair shake...on their own stomping ground...devoid of pre-judgment by my own past hurts. Live...laugh...LOVE...freely and openly...moment by moment, person by person. It's only fair, yanno? 
And, YES..I agreed whole heartedly...LIFE IS GRAND!
