I have been reading some of the posts that are here and so far everyone seems quite normal. Everyone is nice and seems genuinely interested in just talking. It is a far cry from the horror stories I usually hear about online rooms. I am going to be online more often now that I now what this is all about.
What I would like to know though, has anybody actually met someone. What I mean is; I am assuming that everyone here is honest and above board and I was just wondering about some of your experiences with the room.

I met my girl online and we've been together (sort of) for a couple years now, even though she is in Canada and I'm in Texas (some things take time if they are worth doing)

I'm only on this site cause she asked me to join after I got kicked out of another similar site (I get carried away sometimes). But so far its pretty much the same.

Yes carold it doesn't really matter where you are if you are happy. Then again what is happy? Some people are content to go through life alone. I guess your own happiness is graded by only one person - Yourself.

I've met some people from this site. Some only lasted one or two dates. Others have become friends for almost a couple of years. Still another may be what i didn't think i would find again.

Have to agree with the fact that sometimes you just have to stop looking so hard and relax. Enjoy meeting new people and you may be surprised someday who you discover.

It's a very good place to hang out in and talk with the friends that have been made here. Everyone here is fantastic. If you happen to find that special person after making your friends here than that's just an extra bonus. But making friends has to be first. Your friends will always be there for you, the love interest might not, but friends will.

Suff, as one of the longer site members, yes there are several success stories & I have met a few, talked to way more. Reason I have stayed is most of the folks I have contact with are genuine/decent people. Opened my house to whoever wanted to drop by & the door is still open.
