People are picky here because they CAN be.

If they have gotten to the point where they are using a singles site, then why not look for exactly what you have been hoping to find?

it is fine to be picky but why continue to go for or date people who don't meet up to your expectations you can't change a person completely, you can tell them what you want but not put pressure on people or bash them if they are not your idea mate...no one is going to fit everyone to a perfect tee unless we can custom make a robot for ourselves...ya got to get to know a person and allow yourself to be open to their diverse wonderfull uniqueness otherwise that search will take forever....and ever...and ever.... you got to be open sometimes....

I think there are a lot of people here who are not so picky as they are afraid. They want a relationship, but they are really too afraid to get involved with someone again so they are here fooling themselves into thinking they are open to love when they are not.

Just my 2 cents......your mileage may vary.

Dating sites allow you to customize options...therein lies the problem, because then you start customizing dates.

It is our right to be picky. We have all been hurt at some point before, why would we want to let that happen again?

I'm picky because I feel I deserve to have everything I need to be happy. Why should I settle to just not be alone?
