There is nothing sexier than a man with good manners.

I was raised with manners, and have always dated men with good etiquette for the most part. I know the man I am associating with now is the King of gentlemanly behavior for sure. He makes even me look like a sloth.

The old adage "spare the rod and spoil the child" comes to mind. I'm not just talking about children either. It seems to me that the "soft language" we use now a days to be "PC" has caused a lot of unseen side effects. The use of harsh or brazen language with extreme examples is always the way to make sure a point is made. I hate to say it, but I agree with lilith on this one, don't just "take it" and think "well this is what dating is like now." Tell the b@st@rd he's being a jerk, and tell him how. It'll make you feel better and might help some other lady in the future.

I do tell them why I choose not to repeat the attempt, I am actually quite blunt, but it only plants the seed, the real part is nurturing it to a plant and that is someone else's problem! heh heh
