They piss me off!!!! I wake up angry and 3 1/2 years later you would think they would have stopped but I still have the dreams of my Ex cheating. There always the same, I catch her Cheating. The scenario are always different but the main story line is always the same, I am catching her cheating.

Yes she did cheated on me, yes it hurt, yes I have been to counseling and YES I have forgiven her at least on a conscience level and for the love of God it was so long ago now.......I have even had this dream while in relationships and sleeping with others ladies...

But last night I was on Nyquil maybe that was it

Anyone else plagued with this BS??????????? If so tell me they stopped...

I have weird dreams about things that happened when I was a child. Sometimes I dream that I am in high school and have a test in the morning LOL.

It's likely the dreams will never go away completely but will happen less frequently over time.

Not really but if I did it would just be nightmares

14 years and i still got nightmares .but not as much these days thank god .

sometimes I even think I hear the floorboards rattling.

I got into an accident at 13 and I still have dreams of myself after the accident and during. I am 18 now.

Never had a dream about my ex. I moved on...they moved...and there you go.

There is something to look forward too.


I think what pisses me off the most is in the last 3 1/2 years she as been so mean, had me in court a dozen + times after more and more money, verbally beaten me many times and was not fight back until resently because she has my son.

Mt point is she DOES NOT DESERVE A MINUTE of my thought but my sleep gives it to her without my permission or my participation that's what gets me...

You are probably dreaming about her because she has been on your mind, the frustration with court and stuff.

I haven't had any dreams about my ex.. wiped him clean outta my mind. He surely doesn't deserve any thoughts! Cheating bastage!

I would think it's just the frustration. That's the only time I give my ex a second thougt.

Instead of being reactive... emotionally... sit quietly and allow the 'flavour' of the dream to surface... sometimes the only way to move on is to sit in something... sit in the relationship, sit in the ending, and instead of playing victim with yourself, feel the joys of that relationship... and forgive the not great parts...

Or, just avoid it all, and keep dreaming... practise the art of detachment grasshopper!

Obviously it still bothers you.....subconsciously. I would think the only way to really get over these dreams is to really face the facts....let go of the hurt, the guilt? the blame game and look at it for what it was and is......over.

Well dreams of the ex seem to be the norm and not the exception......... 14 years WOW. I feel I have faced all the issues and now its just time and nothing more.
