Well...Crick glad to know the war is over..didn't I see some banners a few years ago? Seems like they declared VICTORY!
So, since the current administration has this Iraq thing all squared away we can thank our lucky stars for Shrub Bush's guiding hand and give the reins over to McCain? I don't give a rats a$$ what party you belong to...doesn't it bother you that we (the U.S.) are making payments in cash and arms to people who were months ago shooting at and killing U.S. soldiers just to make it look like "the surge" is working? Payments stop killing starts again. But that doesn't matter because we are staying??? Or are we leaving??? Bush invaded Iraq "'cause they tried to kill my daddy!" |

Its good that every one has an oppinion and every oppinion should be respected, it doesn't meen they are right. the first casualty of war is the truth. offence is an "illegal act" it is not the best defence. and illegal is not a sick bird! HOW MANY 'CASUALTIES' DOES THE USA HAVE TO WITHSTAND ON ITS OWN LAND FOR ONE TO REALIZE THE TRUTH? HAS EVERYONE FORGOTTEN 9/11? THE USS COLE? THE FIRST TIME THE TWIN TOWERS WAS CAR BOMBED? DO I NEED TO GO FURTHER BACK? THE UNITED STATES HAS TO DEAL WITH THE WORLD LIKE A FOOTBALL GAME, WE MUST BE ON THE OFFENSE, OR WE WILL CONTINUALLY BE ON THE DEFENSE.................. HAS EVERYONE FORGOTTEN (OR PERHAPS SELECTIVE MEMORY) THAT THE USA HAS NOT BEEN ATTACKED AGAIN SINCE PRESIDENT BUSH TOOK THE OFFENSIVE STANCE? HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM??? LINDYY LINDYY |

The war in Iraq is far from over.
There are generations that will be affected by the selfish decisions made by a few. The emotional and financial impact will be carried for many generations. Long after the guns are laid down, and the tanks removed the people of Iraq will feel the impact of the violence placed upon them, the sheer force of the Coalition's invasion. The social and emotional impact will be far reaching. The emotional damage done to citizens, troops and whole nations does not end on a particular date... it is a sad fact that the damage done will be carried by the children of these nations that chose to invade Iraq... as well as the people of Iraq. Wars may have a start date, but they NEVER have an end date. |

Wars may have a start date, but they NEVER have an end date. And of course they would not have suffered at all under the brutal dictatorship of Saddam and his two sons. The US has always paid for freedom with blood and sacrifice. Sad, but true and if we hadn't the entire rest of the world would probably be communist today. Honor these brave men that died or suffered horrible injury. One of the best ways to do that is to make their sacrifice worth it by winning this war. And that is happening right now. |

THEY WILL AND ARE FEELING THE IMPACT -- THE WONDERFUL IMPACT OF FREEDOM - FREEDOM TO RUN THEIR OWN GOVERNMENT, TO BE ABLE TO VOTE, FREEDOM TO NOT HAVE TO BE IN FEAR OF A HEINOUS TERRORIST, SADDAM HUSSEIN. PRAY TELL WHAT KIND OF EMOTIONAL DAMAGE DO YOU THINK THE PEOPLE OF IRAQ SUFFERED UNDER SADDAM HUSSEIN?????????????????? THEIR FIANCIAL STATUS IS WELL UNDER WAY TO BEING SOUND! UNLIKE THAT OF WHEN THEY WERE TORTURED AND BEHEADED, PUT THROUGH CHEMICAL GENOCIDE, MASS GRAVES.....UNDER HUSSEIN. SOUNDS PRETTY GOOD TO ME. LINDYY |

They are just taking a break for the next one - Russia!!!! Correction: Soviet Union. Comrade Putin will suffer the consequences for his monstrous actions and the threats they made today against Poland are unacceptable. To hell with the Arabs though. Wars in the Middle East are a waste of time. They just want to kill each other, and only seem to kill us when we get in their way. Such is the behavior of the Mesopotamian Hordes. |

And before you start your diatribe Linddy....my son has just completed six months over there...so I DO know as a fact what it looks like, from the child that left home to join the Defence force, to the man who came home from Timor, to the husk that has stumbled off a plane from Iraq... the brutality and the contempt of troops towards the peoples of Iraq IN A GENERALISED sense is so soul destroying... There is no liberation where there is no respect.. You sit with your thumb up your arse typing litanies of lies, and feel justified.... it's appalling to read. |
