And keep trying to look through Mutual Match, use the Search function, and GET A DANG PICTURE ON YOUR PROFILE if you don't already... who the hell wants to date a blank page?

Not everyone has a Hollywood body... so you might have to realize your eyes aren't the only things that take in the attraction...

have only encountered bs'ers, liars, men that havent healed from there past marriages (shouldnt be on dating site) on this site so far. Not good enough for any others. I have never met any one from this site. I have from other sites though. There are dry spells... and sometimes... well, when it rains it pours.

Internet dating has to be the scariest thing I have ever done. ( I am not scared easily either, I am a trucker and have had to spend the night in some places that can sare you gray!!! )

I have been on here, ( JSH/M2 ) for over a year.

It seems to be that people are either here to play games, or have such high expectations, that no-one could possibly live up to them.

I'm not quite sure why I keep my membership here, except for the excellent forums, this is the driest site I have ever belonged to... With one exception... E-Harmony... that place is expensive and in 2 months I didnt get one reply.

Being a BBW in the dating world is hard enough without the high expections of men who want a mature, sexy, baggage free, kid free, smoke free, alcohol free, Barbie-Doll model.

OK. I admit that sounded harsh. Not all men are like that, but I seem to run into a lot of them.

So, NO. No luck here yet. I have gotten to the point where I am very cynical. I have gotten nasty replies, no replies, nice replies, and traded emails for a while then they disappear. I have gotten as far as chatting and phone calls that end abruptly.

I wish all the good luck for everyone here. Whether you have found your mate or not... Keep hoping... because when that is gone, there isnt much left but loneliness.

I state on my profile no "barbie"perfection here just sincere. But still have had my share of "jerks" from here and other dating sites.
Some though have turned in to e mail friends and thats it they are too far away from me on this date.

i'm not looking to date any longer but, if i were, it's hard to take someone seriously when most of the email i receive consists of 'hey sexy', 'wassup', 'how r u?',or 'i hope you like younger guys'.

i did meet my boyfriend online, not this site but a similar one. we are in a long distance relationship, were banned from the site we'd met on, and friends of ours mentioned this site to us so we joined to both stay in touch with them and each other.

I sometimes think it would be nice to have a separate forum for "People Who Are Serious About Actually Meeting Somebody." Because it seems that the "dating site" aspect of the site has been overwhelmed by the "place to hang out and chat with friends about nothing" aspect.

Not that friends hanging out is a bad thing -- it's just not what I (and I suspect a lot of others) originally came here for.

Then again, the "People Who Are Serious About Actually Meeting Somebody" forum would most likely either end up being empty, or completely taken up with posts about how horrible all men/women are, who has to go to bed at what time, and whether or not it's a good thing if Obama wears gray pants.
