For whatever reason... I have become irritated with the negativity and sharp tongues in the religious forums. I have decided to bring something postitive to this thread. So whenever I have a chance I will be posting spiritual and inspirational quotes from different beliefs.

Those of you that post regularly in the religious thread, I ask that you take a step back, and look at the words that you post... are they positive or negative?

I tried this with Buddha quotes and Ghandi quotes to only see it fizzle down to the bottom of the list!!

but I love quotes so bring it on! I think I get more out of this then the insults we get in here on a daily bases!

but shouldn't you also look at the words you just posted ..you claim to be irritated at what you youself have judge to be negativity from other in the forum and therefore decided to start this thread as a form of your own brand of justice by posting things that you assume will be inspirational to everyone ..

so aren't you now assuming that what you are doing is the right thing for everyone ..which would mean that you are committing the same infraction that you have judge others of ....isn't the term called being passive aggressive ...

my point was not about you or anyone else posting supposely inspirational quotes..it's about the reason you constructed the thread .. which was because you was irritated at people in the forum ..the thread started off with you being negative and was a passive aggresive way for you to express your negativity to the other forums members you was ranting about

a lot of these threads are started in the disguise that they are good for everyone but are really only a way for the thread maker to stick it to those that don't agree with their beliefs

Nope. I didn't post this because it was intented for anyone in particular. I just posted it because it is disheartening for me when I read some of the posts in the religious thread.

I am not being passive aggressive; if I truly had a problem with something someone posted I would address that with them.

I just hope that someone will read some of the quotes that I post and recognize that sometimes the truth doesn't always come in the form that you are use to. And in turn, look within them selves and make changes for the positive whatever that means to them.

I know that I don't encounter you much on the threads, however, I do not judge other peoples beliefs. I don't feel that its my place for a number of different reasons. And in turn, I don't debate religious/spirital practices, beliefs or doctrine.

So, with me posting quotes, its just in hopes to inspire something postive in someone's life.

they dont seem negative....however, I have a rather optimistic outlook, so my filters would only see the positive anyways...
