funches,

Thank you for posting your opinion.

I did not claim that the quotes that I posted would be inspirational to everyone. Whoever decides to read my thread, can take from the quotes what they may.

Thank you. Have a good day! happy

my point was not about you or anyone else posting supposely inspirational quotes..it's about the reason you constructed the thread .. which was because you was irritated at people in the forum ..the thread started off with you being negative and was a passive aggresive way for you to express your negativity to the other forums members you was ranting about

a lot of these threads are started in the disguise that they are good for everyone but are really only a way for the thread maker to stick it to those that don't agree with their beliefs
How bout we make this a non-discussion, non analytical thread, and just enjoy the good vibesflowers flowers flowers flowers flowers

how rude.....

Erica Jong: Do you want me to tell you something really subversive? Love is everything it's cracked up to be. That's why people are so cynical about it. It really is worth fighting for, being brave for, risking everything for. And the trouble is, if you don't risk anything, you risk even more.

Thomas P Kempis: Love is swift, sincere, pious, joyful, generous, strong, patient, faithful, prudent, long-suffering, courageous, and never seeking its own; for wheresoever a person seeketh his own, there he falleth from love.

How's this?

Traffic's alot lighter on the Xtra mile!!!! LOL

I know what you mean about negativity. I almost got caught up when I realized I needed to change direction real quick. It's not where I want to be.

I went back to ignoring the more contentious posts & just respond to the ones more neutral or civil.

Thanks for posting...it reminds us all that we all bleed the same color...

Mother Teresa: I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much.

I love it, I think Mother Teresa had a great sense of humor.

The "COFFEEHOUSE CHAT FOR CHRISTIANS" is like the neutral zone in this forum, it shows that everyone of all religious demoninations or no demoninations can get along and respect each other's beliefs .. which is why it's fascinating that those that are supposely fed up with negativity doesn't post only in that thread but yet make threads or posts in threads complaining about negativity in a debating forum ...duh

That thread nice but boring. yawn

I am a person who likes to THINK and discuss things. I enjoy a debate and a challenge.

For some people, that's "negative." Oh well each to his own.ohwell
