I heard the water is kind of high. I just got the van back, again. Steve had it towed over to Carl's and Carl put a shaft in that someone must have taken out. He put a new timing chain in the engine. Carl told me that the engine was in good shape. He has worked on a lot of Mitsubishi engines. I am glad I kept the front wheel bearings. Carl said the left front one needs replaced and the left front tie rod as well. Steve said I could get a tie rod from Auto Zone. Man driving the money pit home was scary with the steering messed up. It stills needs the passenger window put back in tract and the fuel gauge still doesn't work. I told Carl that I will use his card to call him back up in month when I can get more repairs done to the van. It has kind of warmed up around here.

It is getting there. I was a lot more impressed with Carl than Steve. Steve made a good judgment call on getting Carl to work on the van for me. Carl is retired but is choosing the jobs he wants to do. Steve is more into painting them then fixing them. I do admire Steve's paint jobs. He uses acid to get them down to bare metal and is really a perfectionist at what he does. I wouldn't say he is slow but one might want to put it in one's will who they will come back to be so that they can get the car back in the next lifetime so its all legal. If Steve was in a race and a snail who he was running with I would bet on the snail. Kind of reminds me of a Heinz catchup commercial where they singed the song, "Anticipation, your making me wait."

I am impatiently learning patience and tolerance. The residents teach me patience and tolerance by trying to be patient and tolerant of them. Some nights I can just tolerate just so much of it though.

Just got back from the restaurant. Turned the lawnmower upside down and drained the old gas. Put new gas in it. The other day I cleaned the spark plug and made sure it had oil in it. It started up okay until I moved it. Noticed one of the bolts were missing that holds the carburetor to body. Wondered if someone helped themselves to the bolt. If they did I hope theirs is running.
