the thing I miss the most about the 80's was the freedom I had. You could get away with so much back then. It was such a fun time the music, the fashion, you could do whatever you wanted, and you were cool lol

You were "big stuff" if you had one. Nowadays, people would laugh at you, cause now it is all about getting smaller. Back in the 80's....the bigger the better. |

I was like the first one of my friends to own a "flip phone" cell. it was HUGE and had a long antenna you'd have to pull up I thought i was sooo cool, everyone else had the corded cell phones that came in cases...(You know what im talking about?) |

I also miss the cartoons. When you actually had to wake up early to watch cool cartoons... none of this cartoon 24 hour network crap lol then my brother and I would go out and the yard and battle he-man against GI Joe. Sometimes a we'd throw in a thunder cat or transformer for kicks lol fun times

I assume you have issues with fat shoulder pads & big hair???? My hair never wanted to do "big" and I looked like a linebacker with the shoulder pads I do miss not having to mess with the hair on the back of your head. As long as the bangs were up, it was cool |

We used to tie Star Wars and GI Joe action figrues to bottle rockets, shooting them up into the sky. The Star Wars figures held up well. But we went through a hell of a lot of GI Joe figure (damn rubbber bands, lol). |

Not the fashion, the music. Who could resist singing along to "Gold" by Spandau Ballet or "Ant Music" by Adam and the Ants,or even "Come on Eileen" Dexy's Midnight Runners.............. Oh heck! I've still got those in my car
