We used sugar syrup to keep the hair stiff ( not so good in the summer) and the ruffles on the collar of your "young romantics" played havoc, boy, did it itch.Those were the days when the boys looked prettier than the girls, I swear the 80's is responsible for a lot of "pretty boys" leaving their closets
