Do you think a tattoo is a good way to memorialize someone? I ask because im getting one in memory of my grandad, who was basically my father cause i was raised by my drandparents, and my best friend, and sometimes i worry that ill forget him, not so much forget him as a person, but all the things he taught me, and all the ideals and values that he passed on to me. So what do ya think?

Its really hard to forget someone and all theyve done for you when you sit in a chair for a couple hours getting their portrait stabbed into your skin.
Im getting a tattoo on my ear for my cat... So I approve of the idea. |

I think it's a good idea...I don't like them for me, but I have seen some very nice ones on other people...
that would be a good way to honor him |

If it was for a girl, I'd say no, you never know how things will work out. To remember a family member by-go for it!
